See Halo: Spartan Assault in action on Windows 8 devices

Earlier today we reported that the next Halo game would release on Windows 8 devices, marking the first time that a Halo game would be offered on a touch-based device.

Halo: Spartan Assault, due out in July, is a top down, virtual twin-stick shooter that takes place between the events of Halo 3 and Halo 4. As the first touch-based Halo game, I'm certainly excited to see what it has to offer. A trailer released alongside today's announcement seems to give a pretty good idea, though. Check out the trailer above and let us know if you have any interest in Halo: Spartan Assault, which will cost $6.99 upon release.
