See how Sound Shapes’ level editor works in play

A new video shows Sound Shapes creator Jonathan Mak demonstrating the game's level editor and tools.

Sound Shapes is a cross-platform title that can be played on PlayStation 3 and Vita. It's coming on August 7. Preordering through the PlayStation Network will give you access to a free design by Cory Schmitz, who contributed artwork to Queasy Games' musical platformer.

The game includes a Platinum trophy for collectors.

Two modes, Death Beat — a twist on the campaign mode that features intense, timed challenges to collect notes without dying — and Beat School — a listen-and-match game — should increase the challenge for trophy hunters and round out the experience for dedicated players.
