See Vampyr’s disease ridden world in new screens

Vampyr is the new action RPG by DontNod (Life is Strange) that will be coming our way in 2017. Still in development, the studio showed off some new images today revealing what the game's world looked like.

Set in England following the First World War, Europe is crushed, with its remaining cities ravaged by a foreign influenza. It is spreading through London's alleyways and streets, diminishing her numbers daily. As her inhabitants shutter themselves attempting to avoid infection, only saints and fools remain outside. Those that remain lay as prey to a new predator, schooled in war and deadlier than influenza: the Vampires.

We playa  character who is affected by the disease in a unique way. He's a doctor who specializes in blood transfusions and we must make the in game decisions to see just how moral we want to be. After all, theree is only so much humanity a vampire can exhibit and we'll have to choose how much we want to display.

Vampyr will be released on both Xbox One and PS4
