Sega finally unveils February 19th as Yakuza Kiwami release date on PC

After pretty much exactly half a year, gamers on the PC will be able to continue legendary Japanese mobster saga with Yakuza Kiwami. Sega has shared the release date for the PC version with February 19th. You can preorder the game right now on Steam for only $17.99. Check out the new PC trailer!

Japanese gaming giant Sega has been truly on the forefront when it comes to PC support. For a while now, the publisher has been exemplary in bringing older titles from their vast catalog of games to entire new audiences on the PC. A welcome change of company policy which enabled many cult classics to become a second lease at life.

Games like Valkyria Chronicles, Bayonetta, Vanquish and more are now no longer confined to legacy game consoles of yesteryear and offer an arguably richly enhanced experience by way of ultra-high resolutions and higher frame rates. The most recent game Sega unleashed upon PC gamers is the excellent puzzle-adventure game Catherine Classic.

Sega’s Yakuza franchise has long been synonymous with the PlayStation brand by exclusively releasing on Sony’s past consoles. This changed for the first time when Yakuza 0 released for PC last Summer. The prequel entry to the long Yakuza franchise was the perfect fit to get started for series newcomers.

It was already known back then that Sega planned on releasing Yakuza Kiwami on PC as well. But a date for its release wasn’t known up until now. That has changed now however, as Sega has shared a new trailer for Yakuza Kiwami with the PC release date. In approximately one month PC gamers shall continue the fantasy of living the life of a Japanese gangster.

Just as Yakuza 0 before, Yakua Kiwami is also quite generously priced at the moment at a mere $17.99. You can preorder the game on Steam right now. Once the game comes out, the price will slightly increase to $19.99. So, make sure to jump in on the discounted pre-purchase offer to save a few bucks. Preorders also get some exclusive goodies with the  digital deluxe edition.
