SEGA’s Sonic Boom Wii U and 3DS games get release dates

SEGA has announced the release dates for its Sonic Boom games. Of course, by now you've probably heard there are two different Sonic Boom games coming out — one for the Wii U and one for the 3DS — that will co-exist with a CG-animated TV series on Cartoon Network. So yea, kind of confusing, but the important thing is all three entities will share the same universe and characters.

Sonic Boom: Rise of the Lyric will release for the Wii U on November 18.

Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal will release for the 3DS on November 11.

So really, not much of a difference in wait.

Coinciding with today's announcement, SEGA also released the box art for both versions. For more details about each specific game, head here.
