With robust dev tools available, the Dying Light community on PC has done an amazing job creating new maps for players to enjoy. And now Techland is bringing some of those player-made creations to consoles.
According to the developer, "select" maps will be made available on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the coming weeks.
While a comprehensive list and release date of community maps for consoles will come later, Techland does have plans to show off at least some of these maps during a livestream on Saturday, January 23rd. Starting at 10:00am, Techland will have members of the Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition team meet up to play the best community maps created with Dying Light's Dev tools. Hopefully they let us know which of the maps being shown off will come to consoles.
I'm going to assume the "Harran The Ride" map that Techland showcased earlier this month will be among the maps coming to consoles.
Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition launches February 9, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and will be available boxed and digital. Players who already have the base version of the game will be able to buy expansion Dying Light: The Following individually as downloadable content for $19.99 or as part of the Season Pass.
