Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner Playing Timon and Pumbaa in Live-Action ‘The Lion King’

Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner are in final negotiations for Jon Favreau's live-action take on "The Lion King". They're planned to play Timon and Pumbaa.

Favreau recently brought the live-action adaptation of The Jungle Book to the big screen and announced in September 2016 that his follow-up Disney project would be a live-action Lion King film.

As for Seth Rogen and Billy Eichner, Rogen will voice Pumbaa the Warthog while Eichner is planned to voice Timon. Immediately upon hearing this news, the song "Hakuna Matata" filled the room, and these two actors seem to be perfect for such a song.

Donald Glover will play Simba while James Earl Jones actually reprises his role as his father Mufasa. It's being said that Beyonce is the top choice for Nala.
