Forget the terrible Steve Jobs movie starring Ashton Kutcher. The new, better Steve Jobs biopic is on the way and the cast is so much better.
Universal Pictures' film about the Apple genius is titled Steve Jobs, scripted by Aaron Sorkin, and the cast is impressive as hell. Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Apocalypse) is starring as Jobs, with Seth Rogen (The Interview) playing Apple co-found Steve Wozniak. Kate Winslet will be portraying former Mac marketing chief Joanna Hoffman, Jeff Daniels is former Apple CEO John Sculley, and the rest of the cast is rounded out by Katherine Waterston, Michael Stuhlbarg, Sarah Snook and Adam Shapiro.
The synopsis for the film reads:
Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, the film takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.
I'm onboard just because I know Sorkin and Fassbender will go together wonderfully. There's no release date for Steve Jobs yet.
