Oh boy, one of the most important PlayStation 4 exclusives is supposedly getting a PC port. At least that’s what recent hints and claims by multiple people with insider information are claiming. From Software’s Lovecraftian souls-like Bloodborne is headed for the PC.
As with any rumor or insider claim, we have to state that until either Sony or From Software release an official statement, confirming these claims, this news needs to be taken with a grain of salt. How could it not? Bloodborne is one and for many the reason to own a PlayStation 4 after all.
It’s the biggest Souls game that wasn’t by the iconic Japanese developer that didn’t go multiplat and firmly stayed on Sony ‘s PS4. It only hurt that much more for gamers who don’t have a PS4 that Bloodborne is often cited as the best game by From Software. We absolutely loved it back when it first launched in 2015 and we wouldn’t want any gamer to miss out on the brilliant experience.
Now, this news would have been disregarded as fan-fic just last year but things have changed drastically. Sony has openly unveiled that their other PS4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn was getting a PC release which makes today’s Bloodborne rumor that much more believable. After all, it would make very little sense to only port one exclusive to the PC. It’s usually all in or nothing at all with company strategies.
Giving further credibility to this news is that gaming figurehead Wario64 and lashman, alongside a moderator and member over at Resetera have hinted that the original claims by Twitter user SlothMom are indeed true.
