The PS4 Remake of Shadow of the Colossus was one of the bigger surprises from this year's E3. On the surface, it may seem like a pretty straightforward offering, series creator Fumito Ueda has submitted a proposal for changes to "content and tuning" for the remake, but in speaking with Eurogamer, he's unsure what, if anything he proposed will make it into the game.
Through a translator he said:
"I transmitted my petition about the content and tuning but I don't know the implementation will be what I told.
Those things of the remake that I would like to change, I can't mention, because if I say one thing and in the final version that thing is not included, it's a problem."
The Shadow of the Colossus PS4 remake is being developed by Bluepoint, who produced the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection on PS3. Shuhei Yoshida recently told Famitsu that Ueda wouldn't be very involved with the creation of the PS4 remake, hence the need for him to submit his ideas for changes via proposal.
Shadow of the Colossus is currently slated to release sometime in 2018.
