Shadow of the Colossus PS4 Remake to cost $40, free avatars to those who bought the PS3 version

With an all-new trailer in the books and its release date official, Shadow of the Colossus' return to the PlayStation platform isn't far off. In fact, pre-orders for the game are open now on PSN, revealing the cost of the game to be $40. Considering that this is the third time that the game has released, it makes sense to bring it in at a reduced cost, even though it is dubbed a Remake of the original.

On top of that, players who bought the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection on PS3 can grab some free SOTC avatars, provided they have trophy data from the game per a tweet from Wario64.

To download your avatars, just head over to the Notifications panel, click on the message, and press X.

Shadow of the Colossus hits PlayStation 4 on February 6th, 2018.
