Update: Shadow of the Eternals has missed its funding goal, raising just shy of half at $323,950.
Original story:
Shadow of the Eternals has entered its final hours on Kickstarter.
Precursor Games' successor to Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem was troubled from the beginning. Recently, I talked about some of the reasons why, but it's certainly possible to think of others, such as fluctuating target goals and a short game length (8-10 hours).
With a total of three campaigns — one on the developer's website and two on Kickstarter — Precursor has struggled to raise funds for the project.
Backers have donated a little over $300,000 out of the necessary $750,000 to the second campaign, which has four hours left on the clock. We'll report back with the final results.
