Shadow Warrior should be a violent, katana-filled, good time

The year was 1997. The game: Shadow Warrior. Now, here in 2013, Flying Wild Hog (the studio behind Hard Reset) is working on a brand new Shadow Warrior game — one that hopefully reinvents the series.

A teaser trailer for Shadow Warrior, which will release for PC and next-gen consoles, has been posted on publisher Devolver Digital's (Serious Sam 3: BFE) YouTube page. Shadow Warrior hopes to blend the "viciously over-the-top gunplay of its predecessor with the elegant precision of the powerful katana."

Shadow Warrior will release on PC this fall, and on next-gen consoles in 2014 — but probably not for the Wii U (that's speculation, but come on… we know what's gonna happen).
