The PS4's free video-editing app, SHAREfactory, has received an update today. Sony Computer Entertainment Seniro Producer Stuart Platt, who works on the app, shared the update notes for version 1.03.

- Support for High Quality microphones
- Audio playback and export quality improvements
- Ability to set transition volume
- Ability to adjust filter effects
- 1 new filter effect
- Auto-trim clips if they do not fit into the project timeline
- Various bug fixes and usability improvements
In another poster, Platt added that a "late addition" was made to allow video clip audio to playback while recording commentary using headphones.
