Aardman Animation’s Popular
Television Series Makes Its Handheld Game Debut with a Family-Friendly Title
Full of Mini-Games, Puzzles and an Original “Shaun the Sheep” Story

D3Publisher (D3P), a publisher and
developer of interactive entertainment software, announced today that the
official game based on Aardman Animation’s award-winning television series,
Shaun the Sheep, is now available exclusively for Nintendo DS™ at major
retailers worldwide. Gamers will play as the loveable sheep, Shaun, as he tries
to find the rest of the flock before the Farmer arrives home. Shaun the Sheep
will be available at North American retailers for the suggested retail price of
$29.95 (USD).

“We were thrilled to see Aardman’s
unique style and animation from the show really come alive on Nintendo DS. It
was imperative to capture the distinctive and comedic qualities that make Shaun
the Sheep an award-winning series in order to create a truly fun gaming
experience for kids and parents,” said Adam Roberts, European Managing Director
for D3P. “From imagery to sound effects, the videogame really shines with all
the quirky Aardman humor.”

In Shaun the Sheep, the sheep have
escaped and Shaun must find the rest of the flock before the Farmer comes home.
Gamers will play as Shaun and interact with favorite characters such as Shirley,
Timmy, Bitzer and more as they adventure through their favorite scenes and
explore areas from the series like the junk pile, the sheep pool and the circus
tent. Players will utilize the DS touch screen and microphone as they experience
three different gameplay modes: Story Mode, Mini-game Mode and Collection Mode
and maneuver around obstacles, access hidden areas, and try their hand at eight
unlockable mini-games and eight collectible slide puzzles. Five “micro” games
will offer players more interactivity and depth by showcasing memorable moments
from the show such as saving Timmy from the circus high wire or making a ball of
wool to distract Pidsley the cat!

Shaun the Sheep was developed by Art
Co., Ltd., and the game is rated “E” (Everyone – Comic Mischief) by the ESRB.
