Shin Megami Tensei 4 launches with 3 DLC add-ons

Shin Megami Tensei 4 launched on Nintendo 3DS today, and with it, Atlus has released three different add-on content (AOC) extras, nearly all of which are free.

The Visage Pack provides three new hairstyles for the protagonist. It's permanently free for anyone who ever buys the role-playing game, according to a press release sent today.

The White Samurai Apparel, however, is only free for the first month of release. The armor provides a stat bonus that's useful in the early stages of the game. The item will cost 99 cents later.

Atlus has also prepared a map pack that helps players gain more experience when they're just starting out. It introduces a collectible demon called Fairy Oread that's exclusive to the AOC. The "Experience of the Afterlife" pack costs $1.99.

Shin Megami Tensei 4, the latest entry in the Shin Megami Tensei main series, is available at retail and on the 3DS eShop for $50. We gave the title a 9/10 in our review.
