Shroud of the Avatar adds two more stretch

With ten days remaining on Richard Garriott's Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues, Portalarium has expanded its crowd funding options to allow for PayPal contributions. Shroud of the Avatar reached its $1 million Kickstarter goal in just ten days, but has slowed since then. Currently sitting at $1.2 million, backers have unlocked the first two stretch goals — a pet system and season weather.

There's still plenty of time to get new features, though, as Portalarium added two more stretch goals. For $1.3 million interactive music instruments will be added to the RPG, allowing you to unleash your inner Bard. Upon reaching this goal, Portalarium will add interactive pianos, harps, lutes, flutes, and drums in the game. The second stretch goal, for $1.4 million, will expand the game's pet system to allow the player to tame certain monsters to act as pets.

Hopefully the new payment option will speed up contributions so that we may see these two stretch goals become a reality. Remember we have just ten days. Shroud of the Avatar has been under development for the past six months with a full release planned for 2014. An early alpha version for backers is expected to be out by the end of the year. If you'd like to back Shroud of the Avatar, check out the game's official Kickstarter page.
