Siege mode for Resident Evil 6 postponed

Capcom made no mention of Siege mode when it announced yesterday the three new modes coming to Resident Evil 6.

Presumably, Onslaught — a head-to-head wave match between two players — replaced Siege. Capcom has now confirmed that the mode is still coming, but at an unspecified date, according to GameSpot.

Siege mode tasks human players with protecting a single nonplayable character (NPC) from enemies.

The other three downloadable content modes (Predator, Survivors, and Onslaught) are coming to Xbox 360 first on December 18. Capcom has not detailed release information for the PlayStation 3 or PC versions of the game.
