Silent Hill: Book of Memories finally arrives this month

The PlayStation Vita game that was supposed to come out early this year is finally ready for release — we hope.

Silent Hill: Book of Memories lands on October 16 in the U.S. and November 2 in the U.K. In the game, players can choose to make their character a Jock, Bookworm, Rocker, Goth, or "Preppy" person.

Multiplayer is an unusual focus for the long-running survival horror series, as is top-down shooter action. Fans will likely be judging this game more critically, considering Konami's messy handling of the Silent Hill HD Collection in the spring.
