Simpsons creator discussing new animated series with Netflix

The creator of the Simpsons and Futurama, Matt Groening, is in talks with Netflix on a new animated series. It is rumored to be scheduled for two seasons each with 10 episodes according to a report by Variety. Now, this isn't anywhere near the longevity of the Futurama or the Simpsons, which is currently TV's longest running scripted program in primetime history. You have to start somewhere on the other hand, and no one expected the Simpsons to explode the way the did from their start on the Tracey Ulman show.

There is no other information available on the type of series at this time as neither Groening or Netflix could be reached for comment. What type of show do you hope he creates? Let us know below and of course, we'll let you know if we hear more.
