Nightdive Studios has released a remaster for one of the 90s classic FPS titles with SiN: Gold. It comes in the form of a massive free update to previous owners and included a new expansion. Furthermore, the powerhouse studio has also announced a remaster for the 1999 comic book video game adaptation of Shadow Man.
The talented folks over at Nightdive are on a roll. They are the shining beacon in the gaming industry who has taken it upon themselves to give some of the most beloved classic games the modern treatment they truly deserve. Most recently, the studio unveiled that they are working on a System Shock 2 remaster on top of a full remake of the first System Shock.
Today, we get not one but two classics that are being updated for modern audiences. With SiN: Gold, the remaster is actually already out! As a stealthy surprise, owners of SiN on Steam or GOG will receive the updated version for free. Besides technical improvements, the new version comes packed with the “Wages of SiN” expansion for the first time. To celebrate the launch of SiN: Gold, users can purchase it at 20$ off for just $7.99 via Steam and GOG.
“Our goal with the remaster is to give today’s generation of gamers all the features that they expect from a modern title while preserving the qualities that made Valiant’s iconic character and the original Shadow Man game such memorable classics to begin with.” – Nightdive Studios via ComicCrusaders
