Six months of Sleeping Dogs DLC planned

Sleeping Dogs is set to release this week (tomorrow for North America, August 17 for Europe), but Square Enix has content planned well beyond the launch of their undercover cop drama.

Square Enix has plans to keep players returning to the mean streets of Hong Kong with six months of additional content starting with the 80s-inspired Retro Triad Pack, which will be available to download at launch.

Sleeping Dogs is a game we know fans will want to keep on playing, so over the next six months we’ll be creating a series of new content packs giving players everything they need to keep enjoying the game,” said Square Enix GM Lee Singleton. “We want to create something to suit everyone’s play style from cool cars and high-speed missions to outlandish outfits and game-extending mission packs. The game launch is just the beginning.”

Following tomorrow's release, will be the launch of the high-speed Racing Pack set to release in September. After that will be the SWAT pack with further announcements to follow.

The first Sleeping Dogs packs will be available from launch on Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network, and Steam.
