There's one inevitable fact for every game with some sort of online component. One day, it's not going to be there anymore, for one reason or another (mostly because keeping them going costs more than it's worth to keep a small number of players active). Today, Sony put out a list of six games whose online components will be decommissioned on July 1st of this year.
Here are those games.
Overall, it's not exactly a high profile list, but the highlight here is the PS4 title Kill Strain, an Action-MOBA hybrid game that is shutting down its online features after less than a year of being on the market. Sports Champions is the game that initially led the charge on pushing the PlayStation Move. The Move, like pretty much every other Motion Control peripheral, has died off considerably over the years, so it makes plenty of sense to pull the plug on it and its sequel.
If you're a fan of any of these games, you've still got a few months to get your last rounds in.
