Skullgirls Nurse Valentine Trailer for Valentine’s Day

The 2D fighting game Skullgirls has released a Valentine’s Day trailer for its fans featuring the playable character Valentine.  I see what you did here Konami and Autumn Games.  This now servant of the Skullgirl was the only survivor from the Last Hope group who opposed Skullgirl.  While not much is known about this nurse’s personality, her motives are pretty mysterious.

Nurse Valentine uses various medical tools and equipment during her fighting matches.  At one point in the trailer she performs an air combo where he zips back and forth and it resembles a heart monitor beat turning into a flat line.  I’m also rather keen on the part where she counters an attack, writes a prescription, and injects her opponent with a toxic needle.  The art style and gameplay looks rather awesome and unique for a fighting game.  All she wants is for you to “tell her where it hurts.”

Skullgirls will be released “soon” and rumored to be released at the end of March for both PS3 and Xbox 360.  Do you have what it takes to defeat the Skullgirl, have a pure heart, and receive your one true wish?  Maybe Valentine can take you there… or practice medical negligence in the process.  Who knows?

Check out the trailer below.
