Skulls of the Shogun almost ready for Steam release

Turn-based strategy game Skulls of the Shogun makes its official debut on Steam on July 29.

17-Bit's title has spent time in Steam Early Access, which allowed players to test the multiplayer beta and a limited number of levels in the campaign. Only now all levels are available, including the new "Forgotten Isles" minicampaign, lead designer Borut Pfeifer wrote in a blog post.

The Bone-a-fide Edition launches on Monday. The 20 percent Early Access discount on the full game is still valid until then. That's a payment of about $12 instead of $15.

The PC version includes a number of new features: six additional multiplayer maps, the Tanuki monk character, emblems to customize player profiles, Steam trading cards, and more.

Skulls of the Shogun came out for Xbox 360, Windows Phone, Windows 8, and Microsoft Surface earlier this year.
