Skulls of the Shogun marches onto iOS

Skulls of the Shogun is now out on the App Store as a premium-price game.

Developer 17-Bit's turn-based strategy game, where undead samurai clash in battle, costs $5 on iOS. It launched today on the App Store nearly a year after its console debut in January.

The mobile version contains no in-app purchases and all the single-player content of the Steam Bone-A-Fide Edition, including 36 maps for both pass-and-play and online multiplayer with up to four people. The game requires at least an iPad 2 or iPad Mini, iPhone 4, iPod Touch (4th generation), or newer device.

The iOS version supports cross-platform play with the Steam version.

17-Bit released the title for PC in July, adding new content. Skulls of the Shogun is also available for Xbox 360, Windows Phone, Windows 8, and Microsoft Surface.
