Yesterday, Bethesda released a new Skyrim beta update. Skyrim update version 1.4.26 is now on Steam for PC users taking advantage of the brand new Skyrim Steam Workshop.
The Steam Workshop, which was released about two weeks ago, allows Skyrim PC players to upload, download, and install custom content for their game. This most recent update brings some fixes to the system – most notably removing the 50 mod cap.
Below are the 1.4.26 patch notes, many of the changes requested by fellow Skyrim modders.

Bethesda warns that the patch is still in development, and to apply the update at "your own risk and only if you are affected by the issues" outlined above.
To get the beta follow the steps below:
If you decide you don’t want to run the Beta anymore, redo steps 1 – 4. At the drop down, select NONE – Opt out of all beta programs. Let Steam restart, and Skyrim will automatically update itself back to the latest released version.
