Skyrim ‘Dragonborn’ add-on gets a trailer, along with Xbox 360 release date

Dragonborn, the next official game add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, will be available for Xbox 360 on December 4, Bethesda announced today.

Coinciding with this announcement was the release of a brand new trailer for Dragonborn which showed off some new features including what appears to be the ability to ride on a dragon. The trailer review the overall plot of the Dragonborn DLC which has you set out on an adventure to take down the very first Dragonborn, a Dragon beast that once devoured dragons rather than serve them. Now seeking return, it's up to you to stop him.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Dragonborn will be available on Xbox LIVE for 1600 Microsoft Points. No release date for the PC has been announced and, as usual, it doesn't look like the PS3 will have access to this DLC anytime soon. Earlier in October, Bethesda's VP of Marketing and PR, Pete Hines, continued to explain that the performance of Skyrim's DLC on PS3 was "not good enough in all cases". According to the update, Sony and Bethesda are still working on it. If you own Skyrim on PS3, I wouldn't hold your breath for this DLC.
