After two weeks of testing, Sledgehammer Games has had made pretty substantial changes to Call of Duty: WWII. Things like scoring, weapons, and more have been changed and Sledgehammer promises to continue to use this feedback to improve the final version of the game.
One thing players have been complaining about is the new map Aachen, a war torn city in Germany where players battle in the rubble of destroyed buildings and the dirty streets. The map is built in a way where players who play with weapons like SMGs and shotguns are struggling to do well on the map, players with long range weapons can see most of the map simply because it's very straight forward. Those sniping benefit from picking off SMG and shotgun users because they can't fight back at all.
Sledgehammer has heard this complaint and is actively looking into changing the map before the game launches so the layout works better for all players. The team has also been using feedback to decided if 100 points is too much for TDM amongst other things. You can see what other feedback they've taken into consideration down below.
