Sledgehammer using animation and art to make you ‘feel like a badass’ in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

In a new behind-the-scenes video for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Sledgehammer Games Animation Director Christopher Stone and Art Director Joe Salud have brought attention to the game's animation and art direction — two aspects of game design that are usually forgotten about when judging a Call of Duty game. But as next-gen systems allow for more immersion, Sledgehammer Games is striving to bring detail to a photorealistic level so that you can feel like a total badass when playing Advanced Warfare. Today's video shows you just how they are doing that.
