Sleeping Dogs developer reveals new game, Smash + Grab

Developer United Front Games has revealed their new game, Smash + Grab, an all-new take on 3v3 competitive multiplayer that features rival gangs competing for loot, weapons, and infamy. Matches will be quick, lasting around only 15 minutes and players will need to grapple, shoot, and smash their way to the goal: $50K in loot from high-end shopping districts or (even better) by stealing from the other team.

United Front Games' CEO Stephen Van Der Mescht said in an official press release:

"Smash + Grab combines our love of competitive online games with our expertise in action mechanics and hand-to-hand combat, sharpened during our development of Sleeping Dogs. The playtesting rivalries got pretty intense in the studio during development, and we hope to see the same reaction on a bigger scale with Smash + Grab’s Early Access launch."

Smash + Grab will be releasing into Early Access exclusively on PC and will be fully featured alongside an offline practice mode at launch. United Front plans on adding new leaders, weapons, vanity items, maps and modes as its Early Access state progresses and there is currently no concrete date for a full release.
