Sleepy Hollow actress Jessica Camacho joins The Flash as Gypsy

Will debut when the show returns in January

It looks like The CW's Flash is borrowing from Fox's Sleepy Hollow. A new report from The Wrap indicates that The Flash has added Sleepy Hollow actress Jessica Camacho as they Gypsy on the CW. The former member of the Justice League will make her debut when the show returns from winter break in January.

In the comics, Gypsy and Vibe, another character in the CW's Flash series, have a history as they both were introduced in the same exact issue. One of Gypsy's abilities is invisibility, but with a twist. She manipulates people's minds by making them see illusions, thus rendering herself invisible to them. It's a bit different than your standard invisibility, but a little cooler. On the scarier side, she can also paralyze enemies with fear by tricking them into seeing rather scary images that aren't really there. Gives a new meaning to "In your mind's eye" huh?

It's not yet known how she'll tie into the team at Star Labs, but we do know that she's on their side. After the Invasion! crossover, we saw The Flash struggle with a message from the future about his tampering with the timeline. That will continue when the show returns in January, with a bit of details teased at the episode's end. Be sure to catch up online with season 3 if you've missed any before the new year so you can hit the ground running.
