Slender: The Arrival devs reveal first look at first-person adventure game ‘Valley’

Blue Isle Studios, creators of Slender: The Arrival, have just dropped the announcement trailer for their first-person fantasy adventure, Valley. Check it out above!

Valley is a First-Person adventure unlike any other. Hidden deep within a remote region of the Rocky Mountains, you find yourself bewildered within a secluded valley. With the power of a recently discovered L.E.A.F. suit (Leap Effortlessly though Air Functionality), run and jump your way through beautiful forests, dangerous ruins and vast environments; all the while utilizing the power to control life and death to uncover the startling secrets of the mysterious valley.

The game will feature some very interesting mechanics. The life/death elements cause the environment itself to change depending on how long you live. The more often you die in the game, the more of the game environment will die around you, which will affect the strength of your abillities. Alex Tinter, CEO of Blue Isle Studios, had this to say:

"After the success of Slender: The Arrival, we wanted to do something completely unique that offered players an amazing amount of freedom, and Valley is just that. This is an incredibly exciting project for us – something totally new and distinct, that we expect will intrigue players.”

Valley boasts beautiful landscapes and environments, upgradable abilities and gear, as well as fun and interesting creatures and enemies, all encapsulated in a constantly unfurling mystery story throughout.

Along with the new trailer, check out the exclusive screenshot gallery from the game on the next page.

Valley releases this summer on Steam, Playstation 4, and X-Box One!
