Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time now has a release date

The next entry in the Sly Cooper game is a long way off.

Thieves in Time, originally scheduled to release this fall, has now been moved to February 5. Sony also revealed that prospective players can buy the game in stores or on the PlayStation Network on that date. In addition, purchasing the PS3 version will get you a free download of the PS Vita version.

Sanzaru Games is developing the title, taking over for series creators Sucker Punch Productions, which last produced a new Sly Cooper game in 2005.

An early demo of the game is available in copies of the Ratchet & Clank Collection.
