Smite has been officially announced for PS4 and enteres closed alpha testing today. Beta testing will begin soon, and you can sign up for an invite here
Initially starting on PC, Smite eventually moved to Xbox One and has a huge E-sports showing with the 3rd highest prize pool. Dota 2 holds the top two spots. Over 70 different gods are playable in Smite from various types of mythologies along with multiple skins exclusive to the PS4. Odin’s “World’s Collide” skin will serve as the free reward for players who link their PS4 accounts to their Hi-Rez PC accounts. Additionally, Kulkulkan’s “KuKu4″ skin serves as the exclusive reward for all PlayStation Plus members. Finally, Ymir’s “C4codemon” skin can be found in the PS4 Founder’s Pack, which will be available for purchase on PlayStation Network during the closed beta period.
Smite is free to play and has a number of free gods to play with, but you can purchase the Founder's pack just as on PC and Xbox One. The pack gives you access to all 70 gods as well as any future gods that are released throghout the game. The Founder's pack will cost $29.99/€23.99/£20.99.
