Smite Xbox One beta registration open

Hi-Rez Studios' free-to-play MOBA, Smite, has officially opened up registration for the Xbox One beta. The Beta itself should be starting up soon, back in November the developer announced that the beta would begin in 'early 2015.'

If we were to look at Smite's past, if the beta begins by the end of this month we can expect the game to digitally release on the Xbox One sometime around October or November.

How do I figure this? The PC version of the game officially launched in March 2014 – prior to that the game went through multiple betas. The closed beta began on May 31st, 2012 and entered open beta on January 24th, 2013. That's about eight months between the betas and two months after betas until release. If the Xbox One follows the same process and the beta begins on January 31st, we might be seeing the game by late October or early November. That's just a hypothesis of mine, let's see how it pans out!
