Earlier this week Nintendo made it clear that the SNES Classic would be seeing an increase in inventory over the NES Classic, making it easier to find than its constantly sold out retro-inspired predecessor.
New details have revealed that Nintendo intends on shipping the SNES Classic into 2018, instead of ending shipments at the end of the year. In addition to making the SNES Classic more accessible, the NES Classic will be returning next summer, giving more fans the opportunity to purchase the console.
The SNES Classic is set to release on September 29th with 21 games, an HDMI cable, and two wired controllers.
