Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 release delayed until March

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has once again been delayed. The game was originally slated to for an August 2012 release before being delayed into October, and then again into January 15, 2013. It had looked as if the game was finally going to launch this month (we even included it in this month's game releases post), but unfortunately, it looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer.

According to a post by City Interactive, picked up by Eurogamer Poland, the new date will be March 12, 2013. Hopefully, that date is set and stone and won't change again, but at this point who knows.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is a follow-up to City Interactive's hit action game Sniper: Ghost Warrior. In the game, you take control of Private Security Consultant Cole Anderson in a series of various missions scattered around the world. This first-person shooter employs stealth tactics, hand-to-hand combat, and intense sniping sequences featuring realistic bullet physics that factors distance, wind, and bullet drop.
