Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 reveals its position with its first official trailer

The Sniper Ghost Warrior series will be returning to a platform near you early next year according to the game's brand new official reveal trailer. The game is being developed by CI Games, makers of the original Sniper: Ghost Warrior and the Action-RPG, Lords of the Fallen.

The trailer showcases the game's three main pillars of gameplay, and if you don't know what they are, all you have to do is look at the game's name. They are Sniper, Ghost, and Warrior and as you might surmise, each of them can change the outcome of a mission based on how well you perform. The Sniper Pillar will keep players at a distance, taking out their enemies with their rifles. Ghosts prefer to get in close, using knives and melee attacks to deliver devastating and quiet takedowns. Warriors prefer chaos, giving no heed to the idea of stealth; explosions and firefights are the only way to accomplish the mission.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 casts you into the role of an American sniper who has been dropped into Northern Georgia (the country, not the state) in the midst of a civil war. The game will bring large, open world maps alongside dynamic weather and day/night cycles that will have an influence on how you play the game.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One early next year on January 27th, 2017.
