So, Batman: Arkham Knight is still broken on PC

When Batman: Arkham Knight first released in June it was playable on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, but rendered unplayable on the PC due to the overwhelming number of bugs. In fact, the bugs were so bad that Warner Bros. decided to suspended the sale of the PC version until earlier this week.

As of yesterday, the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight was made available again on Steam (with a number of complimentary items). Here's the problem, though; it's still broken.

PC gamers on Steam and Reddit have revealed, that despite the numerous patches pushed out, problems such as stuttering, freezing, and unstable frame rates still persist. According to player feedback, the re-released version of the game has ongoing issues on Windows 7 users when it comes to hard drive paging – requiring users to restart, have no SLI or Crossfire support and Windows 10 users are faced with high memory. In some cases, players have been met with a "Batman Arkham Knight has stopped working" error upon start-up.

Well, this is unfortunate, especially because Arkham Knight, when running properly, is a really good game. Let's hope Warner Bros. can get it fixed quickly — or at all.
