Online smash-hit Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is getting a second season. Developer Mediatonic and publisher Devolver Digital have shared a trailer that gives a sneak peek at what is to come. Check it out below!
There’s no need to talk around the bush. Fall Guys is the new Rocket League. It even follows the footsteps of the car-soccer game by being a freebie for PS+ members. No question, it was that business decision that led to the cutesy yet brutal online party game to become such a success in the first place.
But there’s more to the story. Even on Steam, where the game never was available for free*, Fall Guys shattered sales records by selling more than 7 million copies in less than a month. Those are insane figures for even the biggest AAA hits.
So, it comes as no surprise that the developer is already hard at work to bring more content to Fall Guys. Unveiled during the current Gamescom digital show, we see the first look at all the great additions that are inbound with Season 2.
Season 2 promises to bring more of what players want. New courses and mini-games alongside sweet new costumes to unlock. The gimmick of the upcoming season’s new levels is that they are all revolving around the Middle Ages. Not only are the obstacle courses taking inspiration from the medieval setting but the new costumes as well.
The new season is slated to drop this October which gives players enough time to unlock what Season 1 has to offer. Given that you beat your jelly bean adversaries.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available right now for PC and PlayStation 4.
