Someone created Metroid in Super Mario Maker because Nintendo won’t

YouTuber Pixelkabinett has created the thing we want the most, Metroid on the Wii U. Unfortunately, there's a 500 second limit on each level that cannot be changed, but that doesn't hold Pixelkabinett from being awesome.

The level itself is split up into multiple level where you can see places that you have yet to reach and there are areas where you cannot proceed until you get a certain skill – meaning you'll be doing a lot of backtracking. The creator notes that the Super Mario Maker level he created differs from Metroid because you end up dying a lot more, which changes the levels flow.

Each enemy was placed meticulously with level flow in mind. Watch the gameplay above… It's absolutely amazing.

If you want to test it out the ID of the level is: 5778-0000-000F-47D4
