If anyone has ever told you that you have too many video games, point to this guy and say "it could be worse," or that there's no such thing as too much (I prefer the latter). Apparently, one super collector has managed to acquire every single game for the original Wii that has ever come out. That's right, all 1,262 of them.
A NintendoAge Forum poster from Wyoming who goes by the name NintendoTwizer recently posted a set of pictures showcasing his "recently completed" collection of Wii games as well as a Master List cataloging every game as well as which ones are the rarest. He also says that completing the collection was helped by the fact that he bought many games at discount prices, especially now that places like GameStop are looking to move Wii games on the cheap to help create shelf space.
According to NintendoTwizer's research, 2 for 1 Power Pack: Winter Blast/Summer Sports and Maximum Racing: Super Karts are the two rarest Wii games on the planet. Maximum Racing goes for between $75 and $200 online while you can't even find the 2 for 1 Power Pack anywhere. Naturally, it's always the afterthought games that end up the hardest to find.
