When Suicide Squad released, fans were pretty upset for a multitude of reasons. Many just thought the movie was pretty terrible and pretty much everyone was upset at the lack of Jared Letto's Joker who was heavily advertised prior to release. People made petitions for the cut Joker scenes to be released and even Jared Letto expressed his anger with Warner Bros. in interviews. Even with the petitions coming in, Warner Bros. said there were no plans for an extended edition… and then a month later they announced an extended edition.
Although the extended edition is only roughly 10 minutes longer than the original cut of the film, fans expected there to be much more Joker. Although there is more Joker, people realized there is still lots missing from the film. While it's not super clear what all is missing, someone has compiled set photos and behind the scenes footage showing scenes of The Joker that aren't in the actual film. You can view the video below.
Suicide Squad is out now on digital platforms with a physical release due out December 13th.
