Someone turned ARK: Survival Evolved dinosaurs into Pokemon, it’s great

A group of modders known as Mystic Academy took out all of the dinosaurs from ARK: Survival Evolved turned them into Pokemon and it's awesome. There's a catch, though (because there always is), you aren't catching and battling the beasts against one another… you're attacking them or riding them – as if they were still dinosaurs.

The creators took to the mod's Steam page to break down why they made the mod:

"This mod was created to bring a whole new world to the players of Ark. Like many other ARK players, I had become bored with just modding dinos and the other ARK craftables. The team went ahead and started to create a conversion to ARK that would remove everything that you are used to and replace it with the style from Pokemon."

All of the Pokemon "were imported from their respective games they originated from," which turned out to be Pokemon X/Y. Somehow, Mystic Academy has been hit with a DMCA notice. Worst of all, the DMCA notice allegedly came from another modder – perhaps even one in their own community who is working on a similar mod.

It's being rumored that a rival modder sent the notice, however, it appears as though the DMCA has been lifted – so feel free to download the game.
