SEGA announced today the Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Bonus Edition, a special version of the racing title that features a brand-new track and character along with various collectible items.
Available as pre-order while supplies last, the bonus edition contains the exclusive OutRun Bay track. All of the standard race modes plus challenges and time trials specific to the track are included. Taking inspiration from Outrun, another SEGA classic arcade racer, the whole race will transform as you speed across the level.
That's not all; the special edition will also include Sonic the Hedgehog's popular rival Metal Sonic. Meta Sonic's prototype levitation vehicle will be featured in the exclusive Metal Sonic Mod Pack in the Bonus Edition of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
Lastly, an Emoticon Sticker Pack can be found in the Bonus Edition. These collectibles are found throughout the game and are rewarded for skillful play, high scores, and more.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will speed on to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita on November 20, 2012. Danica Patrick and the main character from Wreck-It Ralph have also been announced as playable characters in the game's roster.
