Sonic Jump, um, jumping onto mobile devices soon

Sega has revealed a new teaser image for Sonic Jump … and I could pretty much wrap up this news post right there because the company didn't actually reveal any information on the game. But I won't do that.

As indicated on Joystiq, Sonic Jump was originally a game for T-Mobile Sidekick phones. In it, players guided Sonic through vertical stages, jumping from bottom to top across multiple platforms. I checked out some video of the game, and it looks pretty cool, though I never played it myself.

No word on when Sonic Jump will launch or how much it'll cost. Heck, specific platforms haven't even been announced. I'm guessing the game will be available for iOS and Android gamers, though, because why wouldn't it be?
