After being delayed into Summer 2017 earlier this year, Sonic Mania's release date may have been revealed by the game's Steam page for users in Europe. Gamespot noticed that the trailer currently uploaded to the page shows a date of August 15th, 2017, which would make sense in keeping with the new release window and inĀ giving the development team the most amount of time to polish the game.
Here is a screenshot:
It's worth noting that the date still does not appear in the US Steam page, showing only the "Summer 2017" window. Sonic Mania is rumored to have animated cutscenes and is due to release not only on PC, but PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
