Sony announces Bad Boys 3 and 4

Sony announced today the dates of 16 films slated to release throughout 2016 and 2017, and in doing so they confirmed not only a Bad Boys 3, but a Bad Boys 4 as well.

That's right, the buddy cop movies starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are getting two more films, though it's not certain that the dynamic duo will return for these sequels. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks it'd be odd if Sony went ahead with two more sequels without the original stars.

According to Sony's schedule, Bad Boys 3 will hit theaters on February 17, 2017, with Bad Boys 4 slated for July 3, 2019.
