Sony bundles PS4 with Bloodborne and The Last of Us

If you've managed to hold out on buying a PlayStation 4 bundle, waiting for the right deal to come along, this is probably it. Over on Amazon, Sony is bundling its PlayStation 4 with two of the console's best games available right now — the newly released Bloodborne and The Last of Us: Remastered.

Although both games have two totally different styles of gameplay, they are easily two of the system's best games. And that's not even my opinion, that's a fact.

Released just this week, Bloodborne has quickly earned the praise of critics and fans alike. Although its challenging gameplay can be incredibly frustrating at times, it's also the game's biggest appeal. As we wrote in our review, fans of FromSoftware's Souls games won't be disappointed. As for you newcomers, well you'll likely be thrown for a loop when you first step foot into the deadly world of Yarnam. Just remember, dying is all part of the experience. The Last of Us: Remastered is a bit older, but still remains one of the best games available for the PlayStation 4. Although first released on PS3 all the way back in 2013, this remastered version offers PS4 owners the same great game experience running at 60 frames per second in stunning 1080p resolution. The textures are more detailed, the environment crisper, and motions more fluid.

Both games and the PlayStation 4 can be purchased from Amazon for $439.99, a total savings of $23.97. You're basically getting The Last of Us for half off. Financially, it's still probably not the best deal that we'll see this year; but, quality wise, it's definitely the best bundle that we've seen thus far.
